So as you’ve guessed from the title (or if you follow me on Instagram) I was in Dublin this weekend with my boyfriend and I had the best time exploring this cute city and trying out the Irish nightlife. Our weekend was jam packed and it felt like we didn’t get a chance to just relax.
Anyway here are some of my highlights.
The Guinness Storehouse
We debated whether or not to visit the iconic Guinness storehouse as none of us drank Guinness so didn’t know whether or not the tour would be worth it. On the Saturday the weather wasn’t too great so we decided to go as we would be inside but I’m so glad we did. Inside it is nothing like I expected it is defenitely worth the money. The tour spans over 7 floors - which you can walk round at your own leisure - of interactive information points and ends with a free pint of Guinness in their sky bar with the best view of Dublin.
(I honestly thought I would be walking round an old factory with a tour guide).
Yeah I know I’m late with the whole new year post - but January deadlines were taking over my life! I've only now had time to reflect on 2017 and look to the year ahead.
2017 was a good year and I can’t believe it passed so quickly! Looking ahead at 2018 I’m excited/nervous. The beginning of the 2nd semester of my FINAL year at uni. This semester I will be writing my dissertation and lets just say I’m not looking forward to it. I will also graduate in summer which is exciting yet daunting at the same time! Graduating means I will need to get a proper grown up job and yes I am one of those people who still has no idea what she actually wants to do as a career.
