Summer holiday cancelled? Summer plans ruined? Don’t worry because we are having a stay at home summer, in collaboration with Femme Luxe! Due to the current pandemic many summer plans have been put on hold. But, we shouldn't let that ruin our 2020 summer. As part of the stay at home summer campaign I thought I would give you some ideas on how you can have fun at home this summer - and look good doing it. I know abiding by the government guidelines can be difficult, but I do recommend sticking to them where possible. 1. Get Out Into Nature You should never underestimate the power of a good stroll through nature. If your lucky to live near some hills or woodland get out there! 2. Outdoor Picnic/BBQ As the lockdown rules begin to ease small gatherings are now allowed! So, why not meet some of your friends or family in a garden/park for a socially distanced picnic/BBQ and maybe a drink or two. 3. Meet Your Friends For a Coffee Many cafe's have started to reopen - mostly for takeaway orders. But, I know many people have been craving their favourite coffee so why not take the time to catch up with a friend. 4. Explore Your City The usual hustle and bustle of everyday city life can easily takeover . Have you ever really noticed what your city has to offer? Maybe there are some historical buildings or tourist attractions that you can finally take the chance to admire. 5. Outdoor Sports I recently bought some cheap badminton rackets (lol) and they have been a source of entertainment. Outdoor sports are now allowed and tennis courts etc have reopened. So, if you're more of the athletic type this could be the thing for you! Below I have styled some jumpsuits from the Femme Luxe summer collection. I think these outfits would be perfect for an outdoor picnic/BBQ! You can view their full range of jumpsuits here. I hope everyone makes the most of their summer - whilst staying safe! If you would like to see more Femme Luxe outfit inspiration you can check out how I styled some of their loungewear in my Staying In With Femme Luxe blog post here. Happy Sunday x
