On Wednesday I was kindly invited to a blogger event at the Aberdeen Body Shop store. The event was in aid of some new product launches and allowed us an exclusive first look - including consultations and advice from the Body Shop experts. As a loyal Body Shop customer I was excited for this event and curious to find out about the new products.
So, after attending the event I felt inspired to share with you a few of the many reasons why I love the Body Shop - including some short reviews on the products I received in my goodie bag from the event and products that I use and love already.
I’m not usually a fan of fancy dress but for Halloween I make an exception. This year my friends from uni had a Halloween party (always so much better than heading to a club in town).
I think scary is always more fun. This year I went as a clown. My costume consisted of monochrome striped trousers, and a red blazer (which was on sale). I loved the trousers and will definitely be wearing them again! I researched some clown makeup on Pinterest and found a few different ones that I liked so I took elements of each and made up my own. If I am doing extravagant makeup I always try and do a test run - so I’m not stressing on the actual day. I was also unsure on which colours I wanted to use so I did a quick practice run ahead of the final look which you can see below.
P.S I am no makeup artist.
It's that time of year again when everyone is beginning to jet off on their summer holidays to somewhere with a more exotic climate. I am counting down the days till I will be soaking up the sun - cocktail in hand. My first destination of the summer is the mesmerising beaches of Croatia for Hideout festival.
With under 2 weeks left until I will be boarding the plane I'm beginning to think about the dreaded packing of my suitcase - surely I'm not the only one that hates packing!
So I am going to share some of the essentials I will be packing for my latest adventure abroad.
