Unfortunately I wasn't one of the 5000+ people to recently attend London Fashion Week (one day!) but if your anything like me you kept up with all the goings on in the capital over social media. LFW is considered one of the 'Big Four' fashion weeks along with New York, Paris and Milan so as you can imagine it is an amazing platform for designers to show case their latest collections. I've done a little round up of some of my favourite collections set to make an impact in the upcoming months. David KomaVertical stripes featured heavily in David Koma's S/S 18 Ready to Wear collection at LFW. Sports Luxe features appeared in the shoes and poppers on track style trousers along with a nude, white, red, blue and black colour palette. Lace and sequins created a glam look paired with minimal makeup and a low ponytail. TopshopTopshop's latest collection hit the runway with a 70'svibe - from sleek tailoring and oversized jackets to track tops and double denim. Satin and denim featured heavily throughout and models wore a glitter eye with natural hair in a side parting. The best part - it's available to buy now! AshishAs sparkly as always Ashish' S/S18 collection had a dark theme. Lace and sheer garments were adorned in sequins and diamantés a signature Ashish statement. Male and female models graced the runway in bare feet with minimal makeup and black statement eyeliner. Christopher KaneStatement sleeves and sheer fabrics featured heavily in Christopher Kane's S/S 18 collection with a soft colour palette that feels like spring. Featuring frilled detailing and mini handbags the Domestic Services collection is a new rebellious take on the prim and proper woman. Baby Dol ClothingLast but not least, Baby Dol Clothing is a quirky clothing brand from Brighton. They displayed their latest collection on the Fashion Finest stage at LFW. With lots of sequins, faux fur and cool prints - all in crazy colours - what's not to love?
